This policy describes how Shrita Hernandez LLC handles information collected through this website and through the email updates sent from it. It is written to describe what actually happens rather than to reserve rights that are not exercised.

WHAT THIS SITE COLLECTS

Server logs. The host records standard technical information for every visit, including IP address, browser type, and the time of each request. This is how the site is served and kept secure.

The contact form. Visitors who use the contact form supply a name, an email address, an organization, the nature of the inquiry, and a message. This information is used to respond and to keep a record of the correspondence.

Direct email. A visitor who writes to the address at the end of this policy supplies whatever that message contains. It is handled the same way as a contact form submission.

The subscription form. Visitors who subscribe supply an email address and nothing else. Subscription is confirmed by email before any message is sent, and a visitor who does not confirm receives nothing.

There is no account system, no login, and no purchase function on this site.

COOKIES AND TRACKING

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising scripts, no tracking pixels, and no session recording. Nothing about a visit is recorded beyond the standard server logs described above.

EMAIL TRACKING

The service that sends the email updates records whether a message was opened and whether a link in it was clicked. A subscriber who prefers not to be measured this way can unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any message.

HOW INFORMATION IS USED

Information submitted through this site is used to respond to inquiries, to send the email updates a subscriber has asked for, and to keep the site working and secure. It is not sold. It is not rented. It is not shared for advertising, and it is not used to build a profile of any visitor.

SERVICE PROVIDERS

Three providers handle information on behalf of Shrita Hernandez LLC. The site is hosted by Render, which maintains the server logs. Contact form submissions are delivered through GoDaddy. Email subscriptions are managed by Kit. Each holds the information described above only to provide its service.

SECURITY

This site is served over an encrypted connection. Information is held in the accounts of the providers named above, protected by their security measures and by access controls on those accounts. No system is perfectly secure, and no absolute guarantee is offered.

RETENTION

Correspondence is kept as long as it remains useful to the working relationship it concerns. Subscriber email addresses are kept until the subscriber unsubscribes. Server logs are kept according to the host’s standard retention period.

CHOICES AND RIGHTS

Any visitor may ask what information is held about them, ask that it be corrected, or ask that it be deleted. Any subscriber may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message, which takes effect immediately. Requests may be sent to the address below and will be answered within a reasonable period.

INTERNATIONAL VISITORS

This site is operated from the United States, and information collected through it is stored and processed there. Visitors outside the United States who use this site do so understanding that their information will be handled in the United States.

CHILDREN

This site is intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and no information is knowingly collected from anyone under sixteen.

CHANGES

This policy will be updated when the practices it describes change. The effective date at the top will change with it.
